What are Pilates machines?
Many people have heard of the Pilates Reformer, but there are many other types of Pilates apparatus that offer a large range of resistance exercises!
Pilates Machines utilize different types of springs to provide resistance training. Resistance exercises are an important addition to any exercise program following core-stability training to ensure that both stabilising muscles and moving muscles are strengthened.
The Reformer is a bed-style machine that can be used to strengthen muscles in the legs and arms.
The Stability Chair is designed to assist with more functional, upright movement but covers many of the same exercises as the Reformer.
The Vertical Frame provides many great ways to mobilise the spine and stretch back muscles to ease muscle stiffness.
Entire Health also uses a variety of small exercise equipment such as Swiss Balls, Bosu’s, Foam Rollers, Therabands, Chi-balls and Weights. |
